Fjörd
now has a new guitarist; therefore, new material is in preparation
for a new album in 2011. Before that, a song will be recorded
exclusively for a compilation CD of Viking metal by
Valhalla Promotions. This track will set the path to Fjörd’s new epic sound. Keep visiting for more details regarding this

Prior to
the coming of the second full length album in 2260re, Fjord will be
releasing a 3 song EP in CD format. This will demonstrate the
progression in musical composition with new guitarist Jera Sowilo
and the start of a new journey for Fjord. We will again work with
the same label that released the VOR TRU album: Totenkopf Propaganda
rec. Details regarding the special concept and imagery of the EP
will be revealed as it progresses. May Wotan's flame of inspiration
guide us.
The VOR TRU album will be made into a pro-tape by HAMMERBOLT rec in
Poland. No release date yet to be announced at this time.

Orgoth, the guitarist of the Wotanic folk metal band FJÖRD is
leaving the ship for personal reasons and to concentrate on other
musical projects. We wish him the guidance of Wotan on his new
journey. This is however, is not the end of Fjörd, but only a new
begining. Through hardship a warrior proves himself, and thus the
future attacks from the Northern Vinlandic clan will be armed with
Wodansson(vocals, percussions, folk instruments) and new guitarist,
JS (all guitars, bass, accoustic guitar). Naturally, the overall
musical style of Fjörd will be expected to change, but the soul and
passion as well as the traditional Wotanist concept will remain as
strong as ever.
Already new material is in preparation for a new raid prior to the
full blown second attack in 2260 re. Keep watching the skies for
signs of the ravens heralding a new storm to come...
With Wotan on our side, we shall prevail!

The VOR TRU album as been released at last. It is now available from
www.thepaganfront.com/totenkopfpropaganda. For orders in Vinland,
we will soon have copies for ditro.

The -VOR TRU- debut album from Northern Vinlandic Pagan folk
metal pioneers FJÖRD is about to be unleashed upon Midhgardhr. All
metarial has been sent to the label. We are now awaiting the
finished product, which should be this month of Nov. The LP version
on the German label Darker Than Black will follow soon after, as
well as the tape version which needs to be confirmed. A patch will
also be pressed in the same time period or about.
Fjörd is also working on a new T-shirt design to be release soon.
When the album is released, the promo MCD -Vinlandic Northern
Heritage- will NO LONGER be available.
